May 8, 2009

The YWCA of Greater Baltimore wishes to thank our sponsors, attendees, our many volunteers, and special honorees for another exciting Leader Lunch!

Leader Lunch is the Baltimore area's premier annual event to recognize and honor women leaders whose vision, energy, and talent combine to create vibrant workplaces and sustain our community. All proceeds support the YWCA's efforts to eliminate racism and empower women.

Held annually the first week of May, Leader Lunch is a high-profile media event that gathers many of the most extraordinary women in our area, along with friends, colleagues, and associates who share the YWCA's commitment to women's advancement in business and public life.

In addition to recognizing leaders in fields such as technology, communications, government, education, and entrepreneurship, the YWCA honors an individual who has made a major and lasting contribution to racial justice. To help nurture the next generation of women leaders, the YWCA awards a Future Leader scholarship to a promising high school senior selected through a city-wide nomination process.

Please click here for information about this year's outstanding awardees, Leader Lunch sponsorship opportunities, and more. Thank you for your support!
We appreciate all of the women who dare, and leaders who care!
